6^th IM-Workshop on Applied Approximation, Signals and Images   
Interesting mathematics international workshop. The goal of this workshop is to bring together researchers in Applied Approximation with a focus on the mathematical aspects of signal and image processing, including subdivision, frame theory, sparse methods, etc. – The workshop will take place at the Hotel "Bernrieder Hof", located in the suggestive Bavarian forest, and will be an occasion for interaction, discussion and collaboration between groups of scientists. ^{[source: https://www.fim.uni-passau.de/en/applied-mathematics/conferences-and-le…]}

Program

The MIDA group will take part in the workshop with the following two talks:

• Monday, February 20^th – 4:30-5:00 pm

• Thursday, February 23^rd – 9:00–10:00 am   
  Numerical approximation for image reconstruction in the ’Spectrometer/Telescope for Imaging X-rays (STIX)’ mission on-board ’Solar Orbiter’ by Michele Piana
