The NES – NeuroEngineering School Massimo Grattarola is named in honor of the visionary Prof. Massimo Grattarola, a pioneer in neuroengineering and bioelectronics, who passed away prematurely in 2002. This biennial summer school serves as a hub for experts, students, and young researchers, fostering collaboration and innovation in the field.
The 2024 edition is dedicated to "Neuroengineering for Health and Disease: A Multi-Scale Approach". It will spotlight three key themes – Neuroscience, Technology, and Computation – promising a thorough exploration of the field's extensive potential.
