The 45th Scientific Assembly of the Committee on Space Research COSPAR 2024 is being hosted by Busan, South Korea, at the BEXCO – Busan Exhibition & Convention Center.
COSPAR is the world's largest academic conference focused on astronomy, organized by the International Science Council to promote various activities and support global cooperation in space science research. This biennial event is being held in Korea for the first time.
The conference is expected to attract around 3,000 astronomers from approximately 60 countries worldwide. During the assembly, major space development organizations such as KASA, NASA and ESA will discuss the future of space development and international collaboration.
The MIDA group will take part at it with an invited talk by Sabrina Guastavino:
- "From Sun to Earth: machine learning for space weather forecasting"
Further, Sabrina Guastavino will be the chair of a part of the session "E2.4"
