Windisch (Brugg), Switzerland
October 22-24, 2024
The STIX team organizes regular "in-person" meetings to discuss recent findings from STIX, alongside data from other instruments onboard Solar Orbiter, Parker Solar Probe, SDO, STEREO, and ground-based facilities. These events also provide an opportunity to evaluate the instrument’s current status. The upcoming EUI-STIX Meeting 2024 in Windisch is co-organized by the STIX and EUI teams and will bring together experts working on STIX data analysis, with a focus on complementary observations from EUI. Key results from Solar Orbiter’s Spring 2024 Flare Campaign will be featured. The meeting is open to the entire Solar Orbiter community.
The MIDA group participated in the meeting with talks by Michele Piana, Paolo Massa, Barbara Palumbo and Anna Volpara:
- Michele Piana "De-saturation of EUV images"
- Paolo Massa "STIX imaging results from the Major Flare Watch"
- Barbara Palumbo "3D reconstructions of solar flare: 3D forward fitting"
- Anna Volpara "Imaging, imaging-spectroscopy and applications through STIX observations"
and a poster by Paolo Massa "A machine learn approach for STIX flare locations"
