6th IM-Workshop on Applied Approximation, Signals and Images   
Interesting mathematics international workshop. The goal of this workshop is to bring together researchers in Applied Approximation with a focus on the mathematical aspects of signal and image processing, including subdivision, frame theory, sparse methods, etc. – The workshop will take place at the Hotel "Bernrieder Hof", located in the suggestive Bavarian forest, and will be an occasion for interaction, discussion and collaboration between groups of scientists. Program


The MIDA group will take part in the workshop with the following two talks:

  • Monday, February 20th – 4:30-5:00 pm   
    Stable mapped polynomial interpolation through (β, γ)-Chebyshev points by Francesco Marchetti
  • Thursday, February 23rd – 9:00–10:00 am   
    Numerical approximation for image reconstruction in the ’Spectrometer/Telescope for Imaging X-rays (STIX)’ mission on-board ’Solar Orbiter’ by Michele Piana
