Dove e quando
Luminy, France – September 16-20, 2024
c/o CIRM – Centre International de Rencontres Mathématiques
The aim of the NLACIRM24 meeting is to gather leading international experts, early-career researchers, postdocs, and Ph.D. students working on topics related to Numerical Linear Algebra. Numerical methods and linear algebra algorithms play a key role in applied mathematics for solving problems approximately in various scientific and engineering fields. Current research focuses on developing new algorithms and enhancing existing ones.
Key topics in the field will be addressed, including linear algebra, matrix analysis, and approximation theory. In addition to its inherent interest, the revival of older, forgotten methods has led to recent progress. As seen in recent publications, many are co-authored by researchers from multiple countries, highlighting the significant role meetings like this can play in fostering international research collaboration among universities, research centers, and industries. Isabella Furci (MIDA group) is invited speaker at "Numerical Linear Algebra Conference" at Centre International de Rencontres Mathématiques (CIRM) in Luminy, France. It is an event which brings together recognized international experts and young researchers working on and around the methods of Numerical Linear Algebra.
She will present her research in her speech "Analysis on aggregation and block smoothers in multigrid methods for block Toeplitz linear systems".
